OPENING: Wednesday 15 March, 5 – 9 PM.The exhibition continues until 14 May.

Baby Fat is an exhibition that takes off in the little girls’ room, but is a coming of age story about finding one’s place in a now grown-up body, and about breaking ties with the inner child.

No previous generation has been growing up in a society that changes as rapidly as today. Never before have we been exposed to these extensive amounts of sensory input, information, dreams and devastation. Nor have we in decades experienced the world in such a politically fragile state. It’s creepy, it’s pastel and it’s twisted – like a wonderland backdrop, where the desire to belong blends with the ambivalence of constantly needing to revolt against it all.

Bim Eriksson is a comics artist, political debater and a graphic activist. Last year, she released the book ”Det kändes lugnt när mina känslor dog” that is available in Labyrint.
